A skill I learned as A 17 year old…

Its such a powerful skill that it changed my life forever.

Little did I know then that years later.. it will help me in my speaking business, training business, real estate business & internet marketing business etc..

In the mid 80’s I came across a man in the streets of my home town in India.

For everyone who gives something to this man, he would give something in exchange that is infinitely more powerful. So powerful that it could turn the unhappy into happy, stressed to relaxed and insignificant into prominent..almost instantly.

After seeing this feet done repeatedly, I got curious and asked him if he can teach me the same. He readily agreed..

Long story short.. in 20 minutes he transfered this skill to me. This is a gift to you.. use it for yourself, teach it to others and do good to the mankind.. he said.

Remember you can change the world. You have the power.. ( reminded of “He Man & The Masters of Universe”)

While I liked the whole experience then, I was too young to appreciate what I learned.

Then Life took over and I got busy..

Today with increased awareness and experience I credit this man for showing me something that was so powerful and that too, so early on in my life.

In the next few days..I’ll be showing you how precisely what these skills are and how they work and how you too can use them & benefit from them.

The End Of Blogging & Birth of “R-Blogging”

This one of the ground breaking posts I have ever made on this blog. Ground breaking because I had been working on this project for over 10 months now. Ground breaking because I have not seen anyone on the internet talk about this even though most of the marketers are trying this in bits & pieces.

If you have known me for sometime you know how deep I’m into blogging. Over the years I have tried all kinds of models, platforms and technologies in the blogging realm. I have conducted several seminars, workshops on Blogging. Moreover I’m just wrapping up a book that I have written on blogging which will be available on Amazon shortly.

Coming back to the subject of Blogging…

..No matter which way you look at it, blogging is a difficult business. Thanks to all the technological advancements, blogs have now become true sales collateral of marketers, provisioning platforms of creators and lead generation machines of business owners. Of-course the usages are many.

Despite of all this blogging is a difficult business when you measure your success with direct money you generate from it. For example most of the money I generate from this blog is from the initial goodwill and subsequent consulting or speaking engagements.

Because of the difficulties of traditional blogging, I explored Niche blogging a while ago. While the opportunity was huge soon I found myself spending countless hours in updating plug-ins, changing themes, coding affiliate offers etc & etc. While money was there, what is the point of making that kind of money when you don’t have time or energy to relish it.

About 10 months ago I decide on experimenting with what I now call “R-Blogging”

What is R-Blogging?

The letter “R” doesn’t stand for “Rated”, instead it means “Reverse”. Why Reverse? Well in this mode of blogging you will do everything in the opposite.

Traditional Blogs are about design & graphics. R-Blogs are NOT about design or graphics

Traditional Blogs are about Content. R-Blogs are about Superior Content.

Traditional Blogs are not Marketer Friendly. R-Blogs are extremely marketer friendly

Traditional Blogs are all about WORK. R-Blogs are all about Life Style.

Imagine blogging and yet not blogging. Imagine creating content and yet not creating content. Imagine calling yourself a blogger and yet you are not a blogger but a marketer. Most bloggers don’t make enough money but all R-Bloggers I know make money a ton of money.

I’ll share the exact operational model of a R-Blog in a later post. But all I can tell you know is, its a revolutionary way of delivering your content to your readers. Pretty powerful.

I’ll share an example of a “R-Blog” in an upcoming post. I’m still experimenting with it and will have the results soon.

Proof: A Top SEO Ranking is Perpetual

Just this morning I made a small observation about this blog that I wanted to share it here. Over the last several months I had been busy with several projects and hardly had anytime to write on this blog, this has severely effected my reader base. Astonishingly it has not impacted my SEO ranking.

Let me explain.

If you go to Google and do a search on the term “Information marketing” ( Broad Search) I’m ranked #8. This ranking can change depending on your IP address, but more or less I’ll be in the first page. Pretty impressive given there are over 233 million competing pages. This is a very competitive niche.

On a similar note a search for the term “Info Marketing” ( broad search) reveals I’m ranked #5 and again there are 231 million competing pages. For the same term Info Marketing Guru Dan Kennedy’s site ranking #18. You will agree that is also impressive.

As I said, I had not been active on this blog for some months. I have not done any link building either, yet this seems to stay on the top. While the number of content posts have gone down in the last six months, my ranking has significantly increased.

You can also duplicate these results in 5 simple steps.

Step #1: Get an aged domain, preferably with the keyword in the domain name that you are planning to rank for.

Step #2: Make 3 posts a day. This content has to be original. No PLR, No Spun and No Auto feeds. Your original content.

Step #3: Make sure your meta tags have your target keywords.

Step #4: All content posts are categorized properly under categories whose name compliment the root keyword.

Step #5: Repeat Step #2 for 90 days.

This is not to brag but to share the fact that.. with some decent content you can quickly rank your site and retain it for a long time. For all of you who think SEO game is flaky lets talk 🙂
