Your Employees Need A Sence Of Visible Contribution, Let Them Blog

When you’re running a business blog you want to make sure everything in it is tailored to your business, properly SEO oriented and a whole bunch of other things that are going to make it appealing to both your readers and the search engines.

Keeping that in mind, it’s easy to develop a slightly overpossessive viewpoint that discourages your employees from contributing their two cents! The question is, should you encourage your employees to contribute to your blog or should you keep it as a one man show?

From a professional blogging standpoint, that’s an easy one. You should absolutely encourage your employees to blog, and as often as possible. Why? If two heads are better than one, imagine what twenty or thirty could do!

Think of it this way. When you spend your entire day reading reports and memos written by the same person, don’t things start to get old and repetitive after a while? The style becomes familiar, you begin to get aggravated with their shortcomings (yes, we all have them) and before too long you’re absolutely desperate for a little variety!

If you’ve never dedicated forty hours a week to reading memos, just imagine having to listen to your office mate drone on all??¦day??¦long. By the end of the week you’re going to be ready to talk to a rock just to get a different viewpoint!

Believe it or not, your blog visitors feel the exact same way about your blog posts. They like hearing what you have to say, but they want a little variety in there too. Your employees can bring that! Each and every person working for you has their own opinions and experiences to share, and by allowing them to share those experiences you’re actually creating a better overall blog experience for your readers.

I mean, your employees have to be able to contribute something, right? After all, you did hire them!

There’s the obvious benefit of giving your employees the opportunity to make an obvious and visible contribution to your company. Many times employees, especially those that serve as researchers and support staff, get swept to the side when it comes to public recognition. They don’t get to present, they don’t get to speak at conferences, they don’t get to meet with the corporate bigwigs. They are, for all intents and purposes, completely invisible to the public eye. By encouraging employee blogging you’re bringing these people to the surface and allowing them to have their say.

Invested Employees=Happy Employees=Productive Employees

If your staff isn’t familiar with SEO and Internet marketing strategy it might be a good idea to sit down and have a pow-wow with them before the employee blogging begins. Quickly go over the concept of SEO and keywords, and provide them with a list of top searches to keep in mind when they’re doing their blogs. Then step back. It’s tempting to micro-manage employee blogs, but when you start complaining about keyword density (unless it’s missing altogether) you’re going to kill the spirit of employee blogging complete. Relax, send out a few helpful memos, then kick back and see what happens.

This is when the magic begins.

My Recent Presentation On Search Engine Optimization

“Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die”. In the internet marketing business, everybody wants free traffic or get to the first page of Google, but hardly anybody wants to deal with demands of SEO.

Most people consider SEO to be a high skilled job and the demand for SEO experts is at a all time high. Go to craigslist and search for “SEO Jobs”, you will see what I’m talking about.

Search Engine Optimization is probably the easiest yet is a widely misunderstood subject. Up till recently SEO was considered a premium skill(to some extent it is even to this day) and the know how was available to only a few insiders.

Thanks to the widespread adoption and the competition(between the yahoo’s and google’s of the world) more are more opportunities are mushrooming for people who want to pursue SEO as a career. Today its a different story..

On Monday September 21, 2009 I made a presentation to a small group(about 30+) internet entrepreneurs on the subject of Search Engine Optimization. The purpose of this content session was to bootstrap the attendees into the world of Search Engine Optimization.

My talk was titled “Search Engine Optimization for Novice & Experts” all focused around how Keywords, Site Structure & Linking plays a key role in a site’s success.

Here is a quick two-minute glimpse of the presentation.

Every small, medium or big business owner must learn the basics of search engine optimization to increase the visibility of their business in the search engines. By combining these techniques with excellent marketing skills, you will be well on your way to building a successful online business

No matter what form of internet marketing you are involved in, at some point SEO will become a key imperative for the over all success of your online business. You may like it, You may dislike it, but you just cannot ignore it.

Luckily the entire session was video recorded and I plan to release this 1hr:40m video on a DVD shortly with my “Search Engine Marketing Course”.
In fact I completed the editing of the DVD as of last night and all the slides were added to the timeline. It will be shipped to fulfillment company today for duplication..

While the course is not yet ready, you can order the DVD copy of this entire presentation for a small amount of $47. For the first 10 people who take me up on this offer, I will also include the entire transcript and the MP3 audio of the session along with the DVD.

At $47 I’m just breaking even on the cost of production of this DVD.

The entire presentation was so content rich that I stayed there for 35 more minutes long after my presentations answering all kinds of questions about Search Engine Optimization and my upcoming “Six Figure Breakthrough Workshop”.

Here is what all the attendees had to say about it..

Seeking A Six Figure Breakthrough in your Business?

The last few months have been life changing for me. Internet Income Summit surpassed my expectations. I knew it would change a few lives( I expected mostly attendees) to my surprise, it has changed the lives of many of the speakers too.

A few of the speakers called me up, telling me how they landed top consulting projects just for making some direct connections at the summit. No I’m not making this up to impress upon you, if I’m authorized to reveal their names I would do so in no time.

This event also changed my life in many ways. While I personally did not make any money from it, it has pushed me to achieve more. These days every seminar I go to, I get special attention, every product launch wants me as a JV, and most importantly people are calling me to validate their launch plans and ideas. Some even telling me how they gave up internet marketing but are now convinced to get back into it as they are touched by my enthusiasm. I’m humbled.

The fun part is, its only 5 weeks since we were done with Internet Income Summit.

While I have done many seminars in the past, this summit was my first multi-speaker event. Certainly there were glitches, everything was not picture perfect but again it was a learning process for me. Someday I will do a post project review of this summit in great detail.

Thanks for all your help, feedback and friendship. Without your support this would not have been possible.

Since the completion of the summit, there was never a day that had gone by where someone has not approached me for personal coaching. Given a new born, speaking engagements and upcoming product releases my time has been severely limited.

I spent last 5-weeks thinking how best I can help those who are seeking out to me and finally came up with any idea literally at 4 AM this morning. I thought let me put it out to the universe and see what it has to say.

The idea: How about a workshop that will take you by the hand and show you how you can achieve a Six-Figure Breakthrough In your online business. I will cover four subject areas that directly contributed to my success. It will include all the tools, techniques, ideas, blueprints and strategies I use across all the four areas.

and importnatly “blogging” that acts as a platform for all the above four.

Attendance will strictly be limited to 20 people and because this entire concept is mine, I will be the sole speaker/trainer. I will put my self in line, tear my entire business model apart and show you how I execute every function.

You think this is coule be valuable to you If yes? let me know. The only weekend I have open at this time is October 31 and November 1. Also these are the two days I happen to get a decent conference room at a decent hotel.

As I’m doing this for the first time, I don’t plan to charge a lot of money. As long as I cover my expenses I’m good for now.

Speak up and leave a sincere comment here with your views & thoughts. Be constructive in your comment so that it will help me help you

Always To Your Success!
