In this sentence you are drawing the audience into a narrative and painting strong images into their mind. What better way to hold your audience??™s attention than by telling a dramatic story? (Which conveniently culminates in a sales pitch for your product)

You can also use unusual story headlines to capture attention such as ???How a Bald Headed Barber Shaved My Hair.??? In this instance, you could give the headline a double meaning or simply approach the story from a humorous angle.

The Difference Between High School and College

Today me and my wife got into a big debate around employment, hiring skilled workers, expedience Vs talent etc

The debate became intense and soon we forgot the main point of the argument and started differentiating between high school and college, it went on for about three hours( What a waste of time)..thats when we realized we were exhausted and must stop..

Overall its was a great discussion..hence I thought I should better blog about it here.

Who would make better employees.. High school or college grads? We both had our own points.. but in general we agreed that..

Many employers have differing views as to whether high school or college grads make for better employees. Some employers would sooner higher a high school graduate because statistically (and according to some sources) they tend to take more initiative when given an opportunity. On the other hand, college graduates tend to follow orders and play things by the book.

This comparison does ring true in some cases. Professional-minded high school graduates know they have more to prove than college students and may be willing to take on more responsibilities and work harder to impress their employers.

There are some advantages of hiring college students. College students usually have better working habits and are used to arriving on time and following strict orders.

They generally have more knowledge about business, academics and even technical expertise. They are more teachable than high school graduates, who may pride themselves on working according to their own school of survivalist logic.

What about the myth that suggests that college students expect more money? This is not necessarily true, or at least, a greatly exaggerated concern. Many new college graduates are realistic in their view of salaries, realizing that they must earn their way to the top.

Plus, more than a few college students are in serious debt and so will probably be eager to accept a fair salary in exchange for available work

The choice of whether one should hire a high school graduate or college graduate, or pursue his own degree to get started in business will depend on his company??™s goals.

One should not assume that it??™s always advantages to go the college route just because it??™s a higher class of achievement. It may not be time-efficient, especially if the business??™s advantages lie in pricing and opportunity.

Is Obama The Answer To Equality?

Barrack Obama has overcome adversity in a country that only four decades ago had truly begun its fight against racism and segregation. It was written on the faces of over a hundred thousand people, ???Hope??? and ???Change???, tears of joy, the jubilant crowds across the world celebrating a democracy that had just broken the barriers of race and color to elect its first African American President.

Does this mean Obama is the answer to equality? Has he truly epitomized the missions of such great men as Martin Luther King JR. and Ghandi, who fought for freedom over the course of their lifetimes? It appears that not only has Barrack Obama set the stage for a change long needed, but he represents every bit of hope we have in a new world.

Imagine the weight on President Elect Obama??™s shoulders when he woke up yesterday morning, the sheer monstrosity of the task ahead. Equality is defined as the condition or quality of being equal, is the election of Barrack Obama in retrospect the final outcome of a long hard fight for equality?

The answer slaps you in the face, YES, we have finally seen that in the fight for us all to be equal, for color not to play a part, for a great man despite his race was chosen to run one of the greatest countries in the world, that we are all created equal, we all can be whoever and whatever we want to be.

Martin Luther King JR. once said ???A genuine Leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus.??? This could not be truer than what has been represented by Obama, who has taken the technology available to rock the country to vote. Old, young, White, Asian, Black, and Hispanic showed up in record numbers to let known that they would be heard.

It was history for so many reasons, but mostly to represent that no matter who you are, or where you came from this man represented to us all a new found faith.

A freedom this country we call America stands for, the pride of holding high the red, white, and blue. We are a great country that craves a need for change; with so much against us, we have elected a leader who can bring that change to the forefront.

We have, with the events of November 4, 2008, proven to the world we are ready to unite and fight for a change needed across the globe. A new found sense of pride in us, a desire to make a difference and it has all been created by one man, living out the messages of those who came before him. So many have died; giving their lives so that man such as Barack Obama who sends the message YES I CAN, will rise up like a phoenix from the ashes.

Mahatma Gandhi, one of the worlds??™ greatest men once said ??? A man is but the product of his thoughts, what he thinks, he becomes.??? He would be proud of what Obama has accomplished for he epitomizes not only this statement, but everything a man who sacrificed his life was fighting for.
