I stumbled upon this amazing resignation letter by Andrew Lahde, manager of a small California hedge fund, Lahde Capital. Andrew Lahde’s claim to fame is his one-year-old fund that returned 866 percent by betting against the subprime collapse.
Two weeks ago Andrew did something that is completely unimaginable. He decided to bid a good bye, passed a good by letter around.
What caught my attention is the way he crafted this letter. Take some time and read it, you will find a tremendous amount of wisdom in it, like I did.

Students Celebrate Diwali Party..
The last few days had been very busy. Practically every day we had been celebrating Diwali(Deepavali), the festival of lights as its known all around the world. In next few days I will be posting some videos.
The form 2 students of Delphi Academy(my daughter’ school) performed “Bam Bam Bhole” from Amir Khan’s “Taare Zameen Par”. It was such a pleasure to see these small kids perform this amazing song to perfection.
As you see the video, you will mark their teacher in the front as she guides the students through the entire song. Its amazing.
For the entire duration of the recording, I was so focused on the performance that I missed their teacher, right in front of my camera. I guess no one in the crowd noticed that either.
My wife told me about her after the performance, thats when I played the video to confirm.
