This morning I woke and realized I needed some motivation…you know one of those days 🙂
Ok What I saw and heard blew me away. I came across Ye Eun The little Mozart‘s video on the internet. Ye Eun is 5 years old genius pianist. On this video she performs on a talent search show. See how she moves all the judges to tears.
Ye Eun is blind by birth and never took a lesson in piano.
On the second video she backs a group of top singers with absolute perfection. Again moves every one to tears

Can Someone Explain This Economy In Simple Terms
Depending on whom you talk to about the economy, global imbalance, world markets, Oil prices etc you will get to hear stories that are horrifying.
They are usually filled with emotions than substance.
Lately I had been meeting more and more people who seem to feel the economic distress but are not able to understand what exactly is going on? How we got here in the first place? how US will bail itself out? and what this $700 Billion Dollar Package will do to the economy?.
Now ignorance leads to fear and fear invariably leads to panic, we all know that.
Here is a video that my brother-in-law forwarded to me about three weeks ago. I do not agree with everything that Mr Venkatesh has to say here, but I am not an economist. I am not endorsing this video nor I refuse to believe the pessimistic story it paints.
Mr. Venkatesh has a passion for what he is talking about. He is sincere and certainly has some good points. He also acknowledges there is no quick way out. He argues that all the best economists in the world get together and find a solution to this problem.

A “Super High Bandwidth” Dinner With Christine Comaford
Yesterday I had the rare pleasure of meeting The author of “Rules For The Renegades” and dear friend Christene Comaford over dinner.
If you don’t know who Christine Comaford is.Here is a small introduction.
Christine is a Five time CEO and company founder. She either grew the companies to either be acquired or taken public. She has held operational high tech positions at Microsoft, Lotus, Adove and Apple. She has assisted 700 of the fortune 1000 companies and 300 small businesses in accelerating innovation and has consulted with the white house on tech and small business strategies.

I met Christine in Feb 2008 in Florida for the first time at a live event where she was the keynote speaker. She blew everyone away with her 90 minute presentation. I have blogged about that here
Most recently a couple of weeks ago I met her again at the Blog World Expo 2008. We spent over an hour talking all aspects of small business, entrepreneurship and business development etc and luckily I recorded the conversation

I was about an hour late to the dinner meeting. My excuse to Christine: Freeway 101 did not cooperate.
We just continued our discussion around Internet Marketing, Entrepreneurship. She quizzed me on Internet Marketing. I quizzed her on the Economy and the dream of entrepreneurship that seems to be drifting away for millions. Her point was, We need to create more Renegades, the only way this economy can be recovered is by fostering entrepreneurship.
Oh and the food @ Long Bar and Bistro on Fillmore Street San Francisco is excellent. Highly Recommended. Here are some pictures. Make sure you try the Vegetable Ginger soup
