Membership Site: Which Membership Platform ..Membergate, Amember or something else?
This is my honest and sincere review of Membergate and Amember.. As I write this review my intent is to draw upon my experience and make it informative enough for you to make a better choice. I have lately seen this question being repeatedly asked “Amember or Membergate” in many of the forums where I contribute and seek help. So I took a stab at it.
There are certainly pros and cons around both and I will get to the bottom of it..before I start.
Why I am qualified enough to write this review?
Exploring membership sites since 2003 in different niches
Currently have 2 membership sites on membergate and one on Amember. A few more in the trenches..
Made every known mistake on earth starting and running a membership site and continue to do so :)-
Started a site on Amember and migrated to Membergate.
My quest with membership sites started in 2003. Soon I discovered SWEPA and became a member of it. In my opinion it was one of the best membership sites ever created on “how to start a profitable membership site” before it was closed, Tim Kerber came and filled this void.
Currently I have two sites running on membergate (http://www.investorfortune.com and soon to be launched http://www.successEngineer.com)
Easy to user, easy to buy(cheap), installation comes free, Open platform integrates with 40 different applications, Integration with Drupal, Joomla etc All that is good.
Keyword Research Is Critical For Niche Marketing Success!
When we talk about niche marketing, it basically means precision targeting a core element of any given market segment. A niche market is more specific. Example; you could have a general market which could be ???weight loss??? and within that general market there is a niche such as ???childhood obesity???. An example of micro niche within this niche is “Childhood obesity” (google returend 2.1million results) if you further sub-micro-niche it then an example would be “Childhood obesity diabetes”(google returns 151,000 results)
The core idea, of course, it to enter a market where you can focus in a competitive voide, and get a higher return on your investment. Why niches? becuase they are specific and enables you to get higher return on investment
There is also the competitive element. When it comes to niche marketing, you will find less people competing for a share of that market. This enables you to enter the market at a lower cost hence yielding a higher return. The main goal of any marketing campaign is to make sales effectively, increase conversion.
The key to finding a niche market is research. One cannot emphasize enough the importance of extensive research. This is really where you need to put the time in so as to lay the right foundation for your business.
Within any niche, you are looking for a high volume of hungry buyers(search results). In general, you are looking for people who are to a degree obsessed about the subject of interest. A good example of this is fishing.
Fishermen and women will get up at crazy hours of the day and put up with the elements to catch a fish. Some of us would consider this nuts, however, for them it??™s all about living their passion.
The key area to start your niche research is with the online forums. You want to find forums that have a lot of traffic and many users who are posting everyday. Within these forums there is a goldmine of information. This information includes telling you exactly what these folks want and how badly they want it.
Once you identify a core group of individuals with many needs your next objective is to see what keywords they use to express their interests. Once you do this you then start to see how competitive those keywords are. Then create a list of the most searched keywords with the least competition(but with large number of search count) and this will be the basis upon which you will build your site/product of offer.
You will then build individual web pages for your selected keywords. Along with this you will keep the design element of your site simple to follow. Too many links with too many graphics will only influence people to hit the back button.
Many subconsciously link niche marketing to thinking small. The fact is it’s more about thinking smart. The goal of any business is to make a profit and the more granular the niche is the higher are the chances of success.
Remember to keep it simple and execute with precision and before you know it you will have a profitable business.

Traffic Challenge! I Am Going For It…
Since launching this blog, I have received many comments and suggestions realted to its design, content, tone, positioning etc. Currently I am working ion implementing those suggestions. Word-to-word Trasnscript Of The Video
Hi this is Srini Saripalli. I welcome you to my website. The purpose of this recording is to share with you some statistics that I have gathered in the last 30 days with my blog. This blog was completely redesigned about 30 days back. We redesigned the content and it has taken a different shape altogether right now. So I want to share with you some numbers and I also want to share with you some numbers. I also want to share with you how this blog is going to transform in the next 30 days.
As of today my blog has a page rank of 2 out of 10 which is OK .It is not a great page rank .But I want to increase my page rank take it little bit higher. If I go to Google and I say I put my name here Srini Saripalli it gives me a total number of 16100 hits so far for my name, that mean you can call them number of results Google sending or that may be the number of pages that has my name on it. So that is where it stands. Page rank of 2 and 16100 is the number of results Google is sending back .If I go to alexa.com .It is Alexa.com. On Alexa if I go to traffic rankings do my website mail I get details. Alexa returns a page traffic rank of one million 199,280. This is not a great number.
The lesser the Alexa rank is the better it is. So in the next 30days my goal is to take this website from traffic rank of one million 200 thousands or 191K to roughly around 500k. Also when I go to Google and I put my name in I want 16000 to become 32000 and then this has to happen in 30days.
Now to prove that this is going to happen in 30 days I want show you today??™s date. I want to go to CNN.com. And here I am. CNN.com and if you go to CNN.com , see today is March the 2nd 2008, it is giving a time of 2.08 a.m. that means I am 3 hours behind of March 1st its about 12 -0 clock here in California . 12.0 a.m. in California. So that is where I am. 30days from now this is going to be either April 2nd 2008 I will have a traffic rank of Alexia traffic rank of 500 k or less. And then my Google results are going to go up to 16000 to 32000 effectively double on the 16000 numbers.
So that is a challenge for me and we will see where we go .But as I do this the purpose is that I will comeback and share with you the exact strategies on how I increased my page results and also my page rank in the process and also my traffic ranks .
No black hat practices and nothing to do with tricking the search engines. None of those things. These are all predictable ways of doing it and I will do it and I will share with you the results.
