How To Live a Positively Charged Daily Life?

Here is the complete transcript of the podcast

Welcome, or welcome back to Succes with Srini. Today on the podcast, I’m answering a question that has come in from a listener of this podcast and also my radio show, asking me how to stay positive throughout the day. And he describes the whole situation that he’s going through right now wakes up early in the morning, feels positive, feels good. But along the way to three hours into the day, he loses focus, loses energy, and spends the majority of the day being lazy. So how do you overcome this? The reason why I took this question is that this did not come in for the podcast.

This was a generic question. But I took it on to the podcast because I’m sure all of us have experienced this at some level. So hopefully, the answer would help everyone. So that’s my intent with this question. So there are some statistics we go by. And there are some strategies, obviously, but there are some statistics we go by. And statistics now show that if you spend a lot of time in nature, a lot of time and you do that frequently, then your energy levels go up. So you go out, walk, you run, you hike, you climb, you swim, and you spend time in the sunlight, obviously, there is a benefit of vitamin D and all that. But there is something about nature. And obviously, activity to so activities is what I meant by saying going in the sun and all but then interacting with nature means you really go out into the wilderness, and if possible, claim hike and all that, but just in the nature, so even under the sun is nature too. So a bunch of activities that are targeted, within which you spend time in nature is where we see that you have retained a huge magnitude of energy throughout the day, retained energy, so you can retain the energy that you acquire, okay, you acquire energy, but you retain that towards a larger scale, then there is also a spiritual side to this of energy. That means if you start your day, with some calmness, and with some isolation, seclusion with your own self with your higher self, so you do meditation, you do yoga, you do hypnosis, and all that, then they contribute towards positive energy. And I’m not talking about any religious beliefs, just time with yourself, within which you are doing some self-reflection, you’re doing some affirmations, and you’re connecting with your higher self. Immediately, maybe 15, or 20 or 30 minutes you do that, immediately, you will feel that you feel different.

That said, there’s no way to describe this. And that difference that you feel is nothing but you with your spiritual self. And the energy that you draw from that will sustain you throughout the day. And a part of that connecting with your spiritual self means that you are accepting who you are. And you’re accepting your past, you’re, you’re committing to the future, make quite a number of other things happen as a part of you doing that there’s power in it. That’s the point. Now, there’s another way, also, if this is done, also gives you positive energy, which is you wake up in the morning, or at some point in the day. And you start looking at all the good things that are happening in a way ignoring all the bad things. Everything that’s happening is good use you woke up this morning, you saw the sun, it’s good. That means good is happening to you. You woke up, you’re walking on your feet, good is happening to you, you’re able to eat your food, make your food, eat your food, make your bed, talk to people do this podcast, or listen to this podcast, I’m is doing this podcast, that means good is happening.

So good things happen in life. And our job is to keep finding them. Even though there is a lot of negativity, we keep on looking for the good things if you just take your mind that way. That means you know you’re counting your blessings. And the next one in this process, which is a very powerful one, which is help somebody’s need at some point in the day help somebody in need. And helping somebody in need creates a whole different kind of fulfillment at this point. We’re not talking about positive energy, of course, it creates positive energy. But we’re talking about something else altogether here.

When you contribute, you become better, you become fulfilled. Because somebody else will become better as a result of your contribution. It’s powerful. Then, after doing all this, let’s say after doing all the above, you still feel that you’re not getting energy. That means there is something incorrect in a perception So that needs a shift in the mindset completely. So that means you need hope. You need to get out of your negative circumstances, whatever something else is going on. That means you need to embrace your inner power to make your life better to the issue somewhere else. But if this is just about positive energy, discussion, everything that I shared with you right now, that’s enough. That’s enough, do one or two or whatever you can, you will have an incredible day. And you do that for a long amount of time, not just one or two days you do that, no, you commit yourself maybe 20 or 30 days of transformation. That means you’ll do the same thing over and over again, for 30 days, it becomes natural, it becomes just, you flow with it. This podcast started out as a daily podcast, I was struggling with this for the first, literally for the first month, even the beginning of the second month, which was the beginning of February, I was struggling with this knowledge became so natural, I’m in the flow. I’m not saying this is the best Podcast. I’m not saying I’m really good at it. I still miss my thoughts. I still mess up points. I’m trying to make the sounds around me. There are distractions around me. It’s all okay. It’s okay. And I know as a listener of this podcast, you are also forgiving. I know that too. I’m not saying that I’m not improving that it has improved quite a bit. But then I’m in the flow. That’s the point. So you got to get into the flow.

Okay, I want to stop here. Hopefully, today’s podcast is helpful. If it is, then do me a favor. Write me a review rate this podcast, share it with your friends and family, whoever you think will benefit from this. And we’ll talk tomorrow again, I’m here. Okay. Bye now.

Want To Live Your Reality? Then Be True To Yourself

Here is the complete transcript of the podcast

Welcome back to Success with Srini. Happy Monday, the start of a new week to you. Okay, so over the last couple of months, we have been, I have been bringing so many thoughts on this podcast. Some of these thoughts are my own, from nowhere. And sometimes these thoughts are from interactions that I had been having with people in my day-to-day life. And sometimes some questions directly come from the listeners of this podcast, and also from the listeners of my radio show. So I have been bringing all this and kind of putting them in front of you. The idea is very simple. The idea is that in order for us to become successful, we need to do a few things in life on a daily basis.

Now, what is that success? I don’t know. That’s for you to decide. Life is developed. When you have purpose, initiative, imagination, courage, and discipline in place. When you have purpose, imagination, initiative, courage, and a disciplined place, you live the good life. And hopefully, you are having all days in a meaningful way. That means it is creating an impact. It is meaningful, you are happy, you are joyful, you are fulfilled. In fact, if you have these five, then you’re pretty much in a good place. Now, the outside measure of all this is, what car you’re driving, which house you’re living in, what kind of money you have in the bank. All that is the outward representation. And some people do measure you by that. But that’s not the measure that I subscribe to. And that’s not the measure that I talk about. That’s not the measure of success. In fact, more people become sick. When you show your money. When you show your car, you drive the house you live in, people become sick by looking at your success. They’re not happy. But you empower people around you.

When you talk about your purpose. When you talk about your imagination, you talk about your initiatives and your disciplines, and your courage. That’s what I talk about here on this podcast. That’s what I tell people to do. Now, let’s say you have a goal that you have. And we talk about goals also on the podcast here too. And I’ve done that multiple times. You have a daily goal, whether you like it or not, whether you define it or not. Today, you have a goal that you want to accomplish. And you have monthly goals, weekly goals, yearly goals, lifetime goals, physical goals, emotional goals, mental goals, spiritual goals, all kinds of goals, financial goals, so you have goals. Now every goal or every outcome expects you to become a different kind of an individual. See, in the process, you become something every time somebody chiefs a goal to become something. So there is an internal change that’s happening. Or an internal change has to happen to begin with before you can even pursue the goal. And along the way, you will become something else. And once you attain that you become something else. It’s amazing.

So transformation has to happen for the result to show up. The question becomes sisters, in order for you to achieve anything, or for anybody to achieve anything. You need to know yourself. Nobody on this earth knows you better than you. As much as you believe that somebody else has the answers for your problems. I have been trying this on my radio show multiple times. Literally, in every radio show, I say this, nobody knows you better than you. So you better invest in yourself better. Try finding time to know who you are, what you can do. And it’s just not about knowing yourself. Sometimes you have to be true to yourself, your likes, your dislikes, your interferences, they need to be known to you before the world figures it out. Nobody else should be coming and telling you who you are. You should be telling others who you are. In fact, that’s the start. That’s the self-awareness we are talking about. If a discussion ever comes and you’re struggling to find the definition of what self-awareness is, that is the self-awareness, that’s the kind of self-awareness, where it should all start from. And then you build from that point on.

Now in the pursuit of success, there may be situations where you may be asked to do things that you don’t like to do and that you need to surrender some of your values and beliefs and you want to go against your convictions. Now you know you have good convictions, you know that you are right. But then you are being asked And you’re forced to do something different and something incorrect. Maybe you have done it. Maybe you are a bit ashamed of yourself. Now, let me tell you, it happens to the most self-aware individuals where they know everything, the right, yes, they know the right thing, but they ended up doing a wrong thing. But as long as you are willing to look back, and as long as you want to take ownership of what went wrong, and as long as you’re willing to build in a level of additional honesty into your future moves, you are okay. As long as you are willing to not compromise on your beliefs and values going forward, you are okay. So how can you be true to your own reality? Because that is one of the demands of success.

The first way to become true to yourself, or true to your reality is to think about every act and every reaction. Anything everything somebody asks you to do think, why they’re asking you to do something? Is it in line with that beliefs and values? If you are about to react to something, ask Is this the right thing for me to do? Or will this compromise me as an individual? Will it compromise my values? Will it compromise my beliefs? That’s the first. So you have to think through. And you’ve got to do that on your toes literally, on your toes, there might be situations where you don’t have a day or two or five, to think this in the moments you have to make decisions. Now, sometimes you have to also assess the root of each situation. If somebody is questioning your ideas, then you got to ask yourself, why somebody’s asking me to go against my own self. Why are they asking me to go against my own beliefs, why they are not placing enough worth on my point of view, got to ask. And then sometimes you got to trust your gut.

See, if something is incorrect, then your stomach will tell you gut feel, you feel it in the gut, something is incorrect. So when you have that feeling in the stomach, why not give a voice to it? Let it speak. So if something is in a normal condition, something immoral is going to happen. Your gut will tell you. So normal situation, immoral thing happening. His gut will tell you, you got to play your gut, you got to pay attention to your gut. And let allow your gut to play on your conscience. There are situations there are circumstances that will come up that will throw you off of your commitments, and make you take some immoral positions. It’s natural, we’re humans, it happens. But you don’t need to feel pressured. You don’t need to be pressured to believe in popular beliefs you don’t need to give in or cave into the pressures. And if there is a deep-down disagreement within you, then it needs to be boiled up and be expressed. Sometimes you need to make some decisions that are not in line with people who you love. But you got to make them because otherwise, you’re going against your beliefs and values. Now every time you anybody personally, I’ve seen anybody and myself every time I have gone and made a choice that’s against my beliefs. Then guess what I have lived thereafter unhappy? The root of unhappiness is that you can’t satisfy your values, every act, every action, every engagement. And every time every investment time or money or anything that you do is nothing but you’re satisfying your values every time any of your values are not satisfied as a result of you investing something. That means you are creating unhappiness. The goal is to achieve some potential like full potential, the goal that’s the goal, or that’s the pursuit.

Now, achieving full potential means that you need to be in charge of the direction of everything that you’re doing. That means being in charge of your life. Think about it. I’m sorry, today’s podcast is deep. I wish I could take this very far if I want to. But there are four cardinal rules I follow when it comes down to me, holding on to my position, where I stand, and what I stand for. First, you got to think your best, give your best thinking. In any situation, give your best thinking. And you got to feel your best in any situation. And you got to speak your best. And you do your best. Plus it has four cardinal rules. Now you do this over a long period of time by original comment about building and a life based on purpose, initiative, imagine imagination, discipline, courage, you’re loyal to that right? So you’re truthful to that. That part is true. If building a life based on those five things is true. Then, by deciding by being decisive and staying loyal to your beliefs and values, you’re strengthening that position.

Okay, I’m gonna stop here. Hopefully, today’s podcast is helpful. If it is let me know. And we will continue the discussion tomorrow. That’s all stay safe wherever you are. Bye now.

Grudges are Counter-Productive to Achieving a Peaceful Existence

Here is the complete transcript of the podcast

Welcome back to Success with Srini. Happy Sunday morning to you. Today on the podcast, I want to extend a discussion I was having this weekend with a friend of mine, asking me some tips about inner peace, the discussion not necessarily asking me but the conversation when did inner peace. And I made a point I said, you can get rid of all the dysfunctions of life, whatever dysfunctions you have got going your inner negative attitudes you can get them, you can take them out, there are so many ways to get them out. I talk about hypnosis. But regardless, whichever one you believe in, you can get rid of or minimize or diminish the majority of the inner attitudes if you can spot them. And one of the pursuits of life is to spot those inner attitudes. The one that is very hard to get rid of, is easy, but most people have difficulty getting rid of his grudges. And I was, the discussion went into grudges.

So I made a few points in the conversation, I want to highlight that on today’s podcast. And because I’m sure at some point, you did get angry at someone, somebody did something to you, maybe something inappropriate, maybe you had been holding on to it for a long amount of time. And maybe you made an attempt to get rid of it. It’s impossible that a good thought never crossed your mind. Now, why am I angry at this individual? Why can’t I make peace with this individual, maybe that thought did come across your mind? But then somehow you held on to that grudge, it happens across the board. So how do you not get consumed by bad feelings for another individual or another person and eliminate those feelings out of your mind so that you have a happy life? Otherwise, this is a game of happiness and fulfillment. So if you get consumed by other people’s negative emotions, or consumed by the negative emotions you have for other people, then it’s a counterproductive exercise, you can never achieve peace. So what kind of things are what are some techniques or what are some ways within which we can get rid of grudges from our system?

The first and foremost in all this is we as humans, are capable of doing one thing, which others do not do or cannot do. And that is making a choice. So you can make a choice, I can make a choice, all of us can make a choice, we have that mind we have been gifted. So the question becomes is this if you have a choice to make a choice, if you haven’t, that’s interesting, you have the choice to make a choice. In fact, that is true, you have a choice to make a choice. If you’re capable of making a choice, why not use that capability to make a positive choice. So positive choices, I make the choice of not getting angry at an individual not holding on to the emotion that I had been holding on to for the last 30 years or 20 years, I make the choice now. See, it’s a choice, I make that consciously. It’s a conscious effort, but I make the choice. So when I do that, effectively, I’ve shut down all the negative things from that point on. So in a way, it gets diminished, that feeling diminished. So I’m taking a much bigger and a higher approach to dealing with a problem that happened 30 years ago and keeps bothering me forever and interferes into the piece that I’m I’ve got going on that I’m trying to create for myself. That’s the first approach I would do. That’s the first approach I would take.

Now, there’s also one more awareness here, which is every time you think ill or negative about someone, you may think you have a higher power, which creates a higher power in you at that moment. It does feel it gives a good feeling. Yeah, you know, you know, shouldn’t have done that to me, and what does he think about this, you think that I am? So it gives you power at the moment. But again, that power is when you are alone with yourself. Right? So it does give you the power at the moment. But then there’s also a domino effect. You do that every day in every moment you think about somebody and you kind of build up this feeling within you. And slowly you will start seeing that this negative feeling for somebody is now going to spread across all aspects of your life and has a domino effect. If you don’t deal with it. It does trust me. It spreads into your complete existence. And if not checked properly, it could even spill into other areas of life. This is where people pull you their kith and kin against somebody.

The pollute dangerous when it happens that way. Now one other way to deal with this problem is if you haven’t negative feelings for someone. And you know, it’s not the right thing for you, and you understand the effects of it. One other way to deal with this is kind of putting yourself in that person’s shoes. That individual shoe. Oh, by the way, technically, at this point, I would stop this recording because there’s a lot of noise. And from outside coming in, my dad is in the other room, and He’s coughing, sneezing, and all that. So he’s going through a bad, cold, all good. I could stop the recording, but I’m not because I got a lot of focus and intensity on this recording. So don’t stop this. So this is real, this is real, you say this is real. Okay. Coming back to the point. So I take what is called a position on that individual, I put myself in their shoes. And see why did this individual do this way. Maybe they lack information, maybe that influenced by somebody else, maybe they lack the know-how maybe they are consumed by some other things that are happening in their life, maybe they don’t have enough mental quotient to make a good choice, good decision, maybe. And when I put myself in their shoes, now, suddenly, you know, my position is bigger and bigger than the problem that I’m consumed with.

Now, once I see from their side, I can probably make up some observations, even though they may not be real. But it does help me because it allows me to forgive them. And by the way, they could be completely crooked. It does. That’s not that may not be the reality. But that means that as a conscious thinker, I’m looking for a way to resolve this within myself. And by saying by speculating or kind of creating this false perception of what they might be going through, allows me to resolve the problem within myself. There is another way of doing this also, sometimes we see when I deal with situations where two relatives are fighting, and one relative did something. And the other relative is now sad and has been sad for 2030 years, how do you resolve a situation like that? So we do what is called a third person, in a position third person, so you know your position because you’re affected, and you know that maybe your cousin or your brother or sister might have said something to you and you’re not in talking terms for like, whatever, 2030 years, you know them. But you take a third person position on them, which is you think about maybe parents, your parents, maybe your teachers? How would my dad deal with this? How would my mom deal with this? What would my mom tell my cousin? Or what would my cousin’s Mom, tell me something like that, so you start putting yourself in their shoes.

Now, what you’re doing is you’re mimicking the values of elders, more experienced people, then you are somebody who has a different view of the situation and those values, the parents and your father or mother or your aunt, uncle, their values are in you. So, when you take their position mentally, you now are drawing from their energy from their power. So, what would they tell? How do you deal with the situation and once you listen from them, by putting yourself in their shoes, you will operate very differently on the ground is one other way to resolve this issue. Now, at the core of all this is this you got to reason everything with your thoughts, then with your emotions, you cannot reason out anything with emotions. This is the core because your mind allows you to think and reason and creating your emotions only allows you to react. Your mind allows you to act your emotions allow you to react the separation is very, very important if you have completely ignored everything in this podcast episode, you probably got distracted listening to it. There were some distractions here in the room also. This is the point mind creates emotions are to react. So use the mind to create reason and think wherein use your emotions to react. To apply the mind don’t apply the emotions is the case in the point.

That’s pretty much it for today’s podcast. I hope today’s one is helpful. I was in such a flow. I didn’t want to stop this. So I went on recording this. Excuse the sound, excuse the traffic. I’m in an open space recording this, but I’m hoping that today’s podcast is valuable. Thank you,
