The Truth About Achieving Completeness In Life

The Truth About Achieving Completeness In Life

Here is the complete transcript of the podcast

The question of the morning, early morning is, will you ever attain completeness? In everything that you’re doing? Is there completeness? See, you will have goals, you have ideas, your thoughts, there are so many activities that you’re engaged in throughout the day, at home at work, you’re juggling many things, you’re juggling others’ expectations, you have your own expectations of yourself, and then everything that is coming in between everything demands your time, everything demands your attention. the question now becomes his will you ever get to that final end line? And that end line is not just on a daily basis? It’s, you know, eventually will you ever get there? We’re not talking about just goals here. We’re talking about getting to that state where you say, Okay, I did all these things. They all are complete. Now. I did attain completeness. And I’ve been effective throughout this. So that’s the question. And this is a question that I had the privilege of talking to many people, elders, and many seniors, people who have seen the world from a better place than I have seen it for a long, much longer time than me. And very rarely, I have found someone who said, Yes, I have that completeness. And, yes, you know, whatever I did, was effective, or whatever, at least I felt it was effective. I live an effective life. And I’ve attained the completeness, very snobbery, one or two people, I don’t know whether they’re making it up. Or maybe it’s their ego, but whatever it is, it’s very difficult to attain it. That’s the point. And the point is, we don’t even talk about this.

Nobody talks about this at a level that it should be otherwise. We talking about? So why is it twice that we are setting goals? We are working hard? We have an agenda, we have a path? We have the resources we do what we do, but still, why is that completeness not achieved? Or is there something called completeness? That’s even a bigger discussion. Well, let me here’s my observation, there is completeness. There is a state, which is completeness. But it has more to do with the way you attach meaning to it. What is a completeness to you? Think about it. Take a pause. Think through the reason why you are let’s say you are setting goals and you’re achieving them. But you somehow do not feel that completeness. Completeness here can also be said, as fulfillment. You don’t feel good. You don’t feel Yeah, you know, I did it, you don’t feel that way. Is because deep with them, there are some desires. There are some innermost desires that are not addressed. I’m not saying with everyone, but most of the time, that’s what I’ve seen, at least in therapy. In consultations, I’ve seen this there are some deep inner desires that are not met. And it’s not just one or two, there are multiple inner desires. And sometimes these desires are in conflict. See people pursue careers, for example, money, so you work very hard for money. But if I pause you for a second ask you, Hey, why do you? What’s the point of making this money? Then I hope you have an answer to it. And here is here’s what I’ve seen. Nine or 10. People ask that question. They do not. They are wrong. If I ask them for more questions that are incorrect. They’ll come back and say, Yeah, you’re right. Yeah, my first answer was incorrect. So yeah, if I can make, you know, if I can make $100,000, then I can just buy that house, I can make a down payment. If I get $50,000. I can go buy that car. So I hear that. I also hear oh, if I just can somehow make this million dollars, then I can quit my job. But you don’t. You don’t put the job. You don’t stop. You know, with whatever money you make it’s on. And I was referring to a term called compulsive neurosis.

That’s the only way we know how to live and we have to live that way. No matter what doesn’t matter what changes along the way. Good things do happen, but will not recognize the good things will live this way. We’ll continue to work hard and we’re going to just spend our time away. And work takes away a significant amount of your life. That’s the truth. That’s the truth. It takes away a significant part of our existing work. So unless the contrary Licht is identified and resolved unless you do something to fulfill your innermost desires, then you will always feel this vacuum will always feel that Yeah, you don’t have the completeness, you don’t have that fulfillment. See why you make money while I make money because I want to pay the bills, make money because eventually, this money is going to set me free. This money is what I do for this job, because this job only pays this month, this much amount of money. And this job is the only thing that I know how to do. So this is what it is. And I don’t want to do anything else. Or I don’t want to try anything else, or this is what I bank on. And this is going to save me. What if that money doesn’t save you? What if? What if you have worked 20 3040 years? And what happens to the men most desert at that time thinks what you wanted to do when you were kids or when you know, whenever you had an idea to pursue something, what happens to that? What happens to that goal that desires deep within you, you’ve suppressed it, you’re not given a voice to it, and you’re doing everything you’re doing? Because there are things I asked somebody said, why you want why you go to work because I’m scared of life. That’s why I go to work. I want all kinds of answers about work. I’m scared of life. That’s why I go to work. I go to work because I want that paycheck. It supports my family. I heard that. That’s okay. I go to work because I don’t know what else to do. I’m thinking that if I keep on doing what I’m doing, eventually I’m going to do whatever I want to do. No, you’re not. You will never be able to do whatever you want to do. Eventually, eventually you’ll be old, eventually, you’ll become bored like me, eventually, you’re going to lose eyesight like me. Eventually, the eventuality sets in, and eventually, there’s nothing eventual. Everything thereafter is eventual. Sorry.

So you know, this, people spend in in this loop where they go from, I’ll start everything out. And then they realize they start to realize that things are coming at them. And they can’t sort them out anymore. I’ll tell you where today’s podcast is coming from today’s podcast is coming from a video I saw of Tom Brady the other day, talking about somebody asking you some questions. And he’s saying, Man, I’m 45 years old, a lot of shit is going on in my life. That’s the exact words, man too many things going on in my life. Tom Brady, is so successful. And now he’s like he’s saying, or at least the media or I don’t know, sounds like that, that marriage is falling apart. That’s where this coming from? You see the conflict. See, when people go through this phase where they have given a lot of time to something and things have not happened for them. They know that they’re not attaining that completeness. The only path that they take at that point is self-exploration. Like why is this happening to me? What can I do to come out of this? Do people go to spirituality? People go to reading books. And you know why this happened to me? They come into Spain, um, this agony? How do I get out of this? What can be done? If we go there. So, self-examination, self-exploration, self-examination. And if you go that route, people go that route, because they don’t know this, but I’m telling you why they go that route is when you self Examine yourself, you are doing that because you want to choose a belief that you can put everything that you have to it. So that maybe that belief is going to take you to that desire, that unfulfilled desire, whatever, so you can attain it. So you want to apply your spirit to that specific belief. So you’re exploring yourself to discover that belief. You can choose that belief, the discomfort of discovery, you have beliefs already. So you’re choosing the picture, this is the one and then I’m going to put all my spirit all my soul into it. So I’m going to get to that. Now. See, they know they have some conflicts. They know that the time is running out, and they don’t know what to do. So they go into self-exploration. They go to spirituality, they go do different things. But even then, even at that state also, they’re lost.

Because they don’t know what they’re doing spiritually. They don’t know what they’re doing with meditation or whatever it is. Hope you know they want the answers, but somehow they’re not able to arrive at those answers. The answer there is you need to quickly find that specific belief to you got To get to a position where you can choose the belief, and whatever belief that you choose, you can apply your creative spirit to it and get the goal to fulfill those innermost desires, whatever they are. This is a very difficult concept to be explained on a podcast. But this is a concept that needs in-person interaction. And that are some demonstrations. In fact, the self-examination is an activity that you can, you can do inside a room, it’s an in-person seminar of the workshop. So, I study the process of choosing a belief, first of all discovering the belief, if it is not there, then instilling that belief, and then applying all your resources, your emotions, your thoughts, your ideas, everything that belief and kind of stand on it so that it can allow you to fulfill the innermost desires you have. I’ll give you one simple closing statement. The reason why people don’t get to completeness is that they have not spent enough time in loneliness. They’ve not spent enough time to identify their uniqueness in that loneliness. They will accommodate everybody else. Their expectations, their demands, their timelines, their nuisance, lack of a better word, their atrocities, and the forgotten who they are. And that is why they can’t get to that completeness, loneliness, uniqueness, completeness.

Okay. Hopefully, it’s helpful if please let me know. And I’ll be with you as early as tomorrow. Stay tuned.
