There is much in the news these days about paid blogging and how it is an effective form of online marketing. This can be tremendous news for those who operate a blog as there is significant income that one can make from selling advertising space on a blog.
Some, however, will say that this statement is not an accurate one because there is very limited money that can be earned accepting blog advertisements. After all, when an advertiser is only paying $3 – $10 per ad where does the big money come from?
The answer is through quantifying.
That is to say, instead of trying to monetize a blog you need to monetize several blogs??¦plural. So, instead of trying to eek income out of one blog it is better to have an entire network of blogs which can each be individually monetized.
Obviously, four blogs will yield four times the income that one blog would. This is just simple math!
Now, there will be those who think that managing a network of several blogs would be difficult. In all honestly, it would be more work but the work is worth it in the end.
After all, you are being compensated for your time and effort and if you are involved with several blogs then your compensation will be significant.
Often, people look to become a blogging “star” with a single blog. This is not impossible but much of such stardom will be based on enormous traffic. That is not easy to attain and the income a single blog with modest traffic will be somewhat limited.
This is not meant as a knock on these smaller blogs but it is an honest assessment of their marketing potential. When one understands the actual truth of blog revenue systems then the ability to make accurate marketing decisions will be made significantly easier.
The best way to make managing a series of blogs easy would be to have a series of specific targeted blogs. That is, instead of having a general blog it is best to have a number of blogs that follow a single theme or topic.
This makes coming up with material easier as you have a focused topic to follow. Remember, writer’s block is difficult to deal with but if you have a number of topics throughout several blogs can help you overcome such writer’s block.
And, of course, you will have the added benefit or quantifying your blog income through your mini blog network; a network that can be expanded at anytime.
