Here is the complete transcript of the podcast
Yesterday when I was recording my podcasts, I was explaining this principle. I said, every time I am enacting, I’m in the middle of doing something, and I have my mind producing ideas and thoughts. And, I was giving an example. I said, as I’m recording the podcast, I’m getting some thoughts that I could literally record tomorrow if need be. And I don’t need to get worried about it, Hey, I just record a podcast today. And what will I speak about tomorrow? So I spent some time yesterday and develop this idea of how to have evolved life and how to how do you know that you’re living for the life, like a good life or a well-fulfilled life. Okay, if there is a title to this podcast, that’s the title, how to make sure that you are living a healthy or life. Okay, so looking back into some of my thoughts, I came up with about five things in my understanding that anybody should do so that they know that they’re living a healthy life. So these five things are happening in some shape or form, then you’re good, okay.
First and foremost, one is you are giving more than you’re taking. Most people say they do. But they don’t really. So how to measure this, how to measure that you’re putting in more effort and you’re putting in producing more quality of work at your place of employment than the amount of salary you’re getting, let’s say, just take that as an example. But don’t know how to measure this. So I will leave the measure to you. Okay. But in principle, you agree that in order for you to live over life, you have to give more than you take from any situation. Life is an incredible equalizer. So there is not possibility that you are putting in more and taking less. Life rewards you compensate you in one way or the other. But if you have that mindset, that means you’re living a good life. You’re living the body life if you understand the cycle of excitement and disappointment. Most people live a painful, and very restless, life filled with suffering and misery because they don’t understand the cycle called excitement and disappointment. The cyclical relationship between excitement, disappointment, and excitement is when they get excited, they get carried away when the disappointment that beats them up. So just to know that everything in this universe has an opposite. That’s how it works. At least this earth has opposite day and night, everything, you know, you have water, you have air, like such, there are so many opposites, such that in a similar way, that every excitement also has a disappointment. So you got to understand the cycle so that you stay balanced in between. If you do not need to be reminded of your passion and your purpose, that means you’re living about the life. every day you wake up in the morning, and nobody has to tell you, nobody, you do not seek any validation, you know, you are existing in the cycles of your passion, and you are driven to fulfill whatever purpose that you have for yourself. And you don’t need to be reminded of that, then you are living above life so everything is gonna fall in place. If you see day and night, the same then you are living over the life. I think this goes with the previous one previous example. So that means you see both sides of the picture, you see both sides of the argument you see both sides of everything. That’s what I mean by day and night. Let’s take day and night and the literal sense. So you look at the day you feel good, you look at at night, you also should be feeling good. And everything in between you should also feel good. You look at everything in between the same, not only just a night. So every individual is the same every situation is the same regardless of affiliations and their own religious beliefs. Every individual is an individual if you start looking at drawing the equals, that’s what I mean by day and night you are able to draw equals and you are able to put everything on a similar plane then you are living over the life. You see it takes a lot of intellectual power and a tremendous amount of empathy to really get to that state very few people get to that state.
And finally, the last one is, at any given point in time you are free of self-imposed limitations. The single biggest problem that we as humanity we have is that we, despite our best knowledge, and as part of our best access to the best, best information, tend to limit ourselves in what we are in what we can do. So the single biggest challenge that we have is us. You are your biggest bottleneck, you are your biggest asset, but you are your biggest choke, you’re your biggest resistance. So if you somehow are able to remove your self-limiting beliefs, and all the limitations that you have put on yourself, then you’re good. I was talking to someone recently and said, You know, I’ve been at this for the last 10 years and nothing is happening. If you’re doing something for 10 years, it’s not happening. And this gentleman was doing something that was very basic, not something significant, at least not in the books doesn’t look significant. I’m at this for like, the last 10 years, it’s not happening. I said, if you are at this for 10 years, it’s not happening. It means you overthought this nothing wrong with your skill, nothing wrong with your talent. You overthought this. So, stop imposing limitations on yourself. You got to live a free, fulfilled, and autonomous life. That cannot happen if you keep limiting yourself. I’m too old for this, or I don’t have the energy to do this. Or I don’t think I have the background to do this. Or I don’t think this is what I meant for or whatever. Fear of success, fear of failure, fear of something who knows. Okay, these are five things that are crossing my mind right now. But there could be more again, I did not develop this thought as much. I said I want to work on this. But then I woke up this morning and I’m like, Okay, I got to record the podcast, but how can I make this meaningful? Because already promised this yesterday?
