Page 1 On Google for Information marketing

I’m excited today for two reasons..

#1. I finally took some time out from my busy schedule and make a blog post on this blog after nearly six weeks of silence.

#2. My blog is ranking in page #1 of google for the term “Info Marketing” with over 222 Million competing pages.

If you carefully study this blog, you will see its not that well optimized. My other blogs have taken away a lot of my time and hence I have not focused much of my time here. The only inference I can make from this is.. if you tell Google that you are about information marketing you better have content in your blog relevant to information marketing. You cannot mention “Information Marketing” in the title tag and stuff your posts with a completely unrelated keyword called “Animal surgery”. It will not fly.

Also density and seasoning of content matters. I’m reasonably sure that I can walk away from this blog for three months and come back again to see it rank high for keyword like “information marketing” and any other extension to it such as “Information marketing Library” or “Information marketing Course”

That’s my hunch.

As you see the term “information marketing” is not a buyer keyword as such, there are not that may paid ads either, but the competition is extremely high.

For Information marketing, I’m still ranking in page 2, at 11th position, I’m close to getting into page one. There is a reason why I have mentioned “information marketing” so many times in this post, even the post slug is “Information marketing” and so is the category. Lets see if this post will push me into page 1 for the term “information marketing”

In the meantime while that happens, I’m enjoying all the joint venture requests I’m getting from other information marketing gurus!
