Growth Is A Daily Grind: This Podcast Is The Proof

Here is the complete transcript of the podcast

Welcome to Success with Srini. Happy Monday morning to you. This is the end of the month of February 2022 last day and also start a new week. Interesting. So before I get going into today’s podcast, I want to quickly share something. Today, we complete two months of this podcast, a daily podcast. So we started, I think the third of January of 2022. And we completed two months. And thank you for being a listener, thank you for being a supporter. Thank you for your questions. We thought our questions this podcast is, I don’t even know what I’ll be doing on the side. So this is this has been an incredible journey. Now, last year, I’ll tell you why this is so monumental for me personally. Because last year in 2021, I did the same thing. I started the podcast, I believe the last podcast, I stopped on February 17. I believe that the last podcast last year, I did daily till February 17. And I stopped this year, I have come till February 28, which is remarkable progress. So I feel good that I surpassed my previous performance.

Okay, so I can tell you one thing for sure. Whatever this is, this has been a daily grind. This has not come in easy. It’s a daily grind. This is a daily commitment. And I’m alone, I’m doing this. And nobody’s watching me doing this. And I could stop. And there have been those moments where something within me was telling me to stop this, right? Nobody’s responding to you. Nobody’s saying anything to you stop it. But then here is why this has come this far. This has come this far because there have been numerous false starts over the years, 2016 I started the podcast, false. False start, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021. Again, false start. So there are too many false starts. That makes this start this one this year, to be a real one, till this becomes a false start again. But this is a different approach, the different mindset I have when I’m doing these recordings and publishing them.

The first and foremost is that I’m seeing what’s happening in my mind. And what has happened to me already with this podcast. And I’m seeing what’s happening with people entering questions coming in. So because there are questions coming in, I have to give. So I’m seeing I’m giving, but the giving is only happening through sharing. I can’t tell you what you have to do. I can tell you what can be done. That has been the format that has been the message. So I’m seeing what’s happening because I’m getting questions I have to give the giving is in the form of sharing. And because these three things are happening, there is growth. And because there is growth, there is expansion. And because there is expansion, that enjoyment. So I’m enjoying on the side doing this podcast, the difference between last year and this year is I have helped this year, which I did not have last year.

So there are people behind in the business now helping me to make this podcast successful. They’re just putting in the effort. And initially, I started editing and all those things. But now I have my team helping me to put this together so I can not succeed. Or I wouldn’t even have this conversation today with you on February 28. Yet 2022 talking this podcast, I’m sharing this detail with you without a team supporting me. So I’m also grateful for that. So that is the expansion and enjoyment is that you know, I look forward to doing tomorrow’s podcast. So here are three things I did coming into this project. And this is what I’m doing in my YouTube project now. So the YouTube channel is up and running now. And everything else that I’m doing with a three-step mindset this year in 2022. I want to share that with you today. The first thing is along the way, anything that you do, there will be some self-defeating beliefs. Why do this? Who is going to benefit from this?

I don’t have anything worthy enough to share. I don’t think my journey my ideas, my thoughts, my experiences are going to help anyone so that part is a self-imposed limitation. We all have it. I have it. Sometimes I do the recording too. In this recording, as I’m doing this, I said, I’m not going to stop this, there are some words that I might have misspelled and I might have pronounced them in an incorrect manner. These are limitations, I have these limitations. English is not my first language, this is my limitation, I have it and I have to accept it. This is the truth, okay. But there are many other nonexisting limitations that we impose upon ourselves, simply because we believe in them. It’s belief level, so we just think about them, believe them, and then we impose upon them impose upon ourselves, and then now suddenly, we are incapacitated, and we are not producing results. The second approach here is I’m constantly evaluating my life pattern to pull myself out of mediocrity and nonperformance. So I’m constantly looking into myself, I’m seeing, you know, what can I change? What can I do to pull myself out of nonperformance? And whenever there is performance, there is also a subliminal existence of nonperformance, you cannot be performing and you can’t see an incredible performance. So let’s take an example, you go to a concert, you see an incredible performance happening on the stage.

But let me tell you behind the scenes, you have no idea what kind of nonperformance is playing out, not visible on the stage, but there is it’s playing out a good performer, or good production. After the performance, they’re gonna evaluate what happened on the stage, what happened off the stage, and they’re going to, should improve that in the next performance. You as an attendee of this performance, you will not know. But there is an improvement, and improvement happens behind the scenes. So a part of our pursuit should be that we wake up every day, and we ask questions. How do I eliminate any life pattern? Or any nonperformance or any mediocrity from my pursuit? I asked this question for this podcast project. And I’m doing that from a YouTube project now and everywhere. Then there is another element to this, which is, what is it that I will do today, that’s going to create a massive and monumental shift in my life? What can I do today, that can create a massive and monumental shift in my life today. And interestingly, it starts with this podcast. Because this is the first line of activity I have. This is the first line of public activity I have every day and if I cannot make that shift here, you know, everything else I do in the day is a waste.

So this is it. These are the three shifts I made. And I’m going to keep on changing this a bit more going to refine this. And over the next few days, weeks months, on this podcast, I will even share the refined three-step or four-step formula at some point in time, but this is the mindset currently, this is how I’m approaching this. So that’s all. So thank you for your support. Thank you for being a subscriber listener. And as somebody who is questioning who is asking the question and putting me on spot, I appreciate that.

Thank you for everything, for whoever you are, and whatever you do. That’s all I had on my mind. And you see, today’s podcast is a one-take podcast, no editing, nothing. This is what it is. These are some words that I said here. Some thoughts I lost as I was speaking, all that is intact as is nothing changed. You know what I have learned over the years. People don’t care about all this. Everything has to be said and done. within which they derive value. If they are deriving value, they don’t care about all the cosmetics. Everything else is unnecessary. But people are caught up in all this. How do I look? How do I speak? am I sounding right? Doesn’t matter. Personal experience doesn’t matter.

Okay, so that’s all for now. Wherever you are, be safe, be wonderful, be amazing. And we’ll talk tomorrow. Take care. Bye now.
