17 Negative Thoughts In 10 Minutes or Less!

Finally I got back to working out today..Given the kind of busines I am in I work just about 20 hours a day, sitting in fornt of my computer, creating products, generating traffic to my site, usually my weekends are spent talking to genral contractors, looking for deals etc.

For the last 18 months or so I had been very busy building my three businesses hence exercise/workouts have taken a backseat completely.

About 3 days ago..I got a phone call from back home that one of my cousins, with whom I grew up; passed away due to abrupt lung failure. He was 40.

A sincere son, A loving husband and above all someone who never said no to anyone for anything. Always helping, caring for people in need.

About 6 months ago I thought of calling and talking to him because he lost is father, ie my Uncle. I wanted to talk to him and pass on my condolences. But did not have the courage to do so..
My uncle was great man, again always helping, loving and caring for others. A man with clarity, transperacny and above all simplicity. When I heard he passed away..I was in shock..I just could not believe it. How come a man with such great heart, enuthisam can go so quickly? He was 83

My entire family is coming to terms with these two great souls leaving us suddenly.

Yesterday I made a promise to myself, I will do whatever it takes to stay in shape, de-stress myself and do everything I have to do to protect my health. I will get back to exercising again.

So I got on to my treadclimber..with a goal to cover 1 mile..

I could not even complete half mile..and for the 10 minutes I was there I counted how many time I had the urge to get off the treadclimber..

17 times in total. (7 negative thoughts in 10 minutes or less)
Today I was able to complete 1 mile with just about 15

I have to keep working out for 21 days before this becomes a part of my life. As I go along the body will get conditioned and I will overcome
the urge to quit early. As the body gets conditioned, I will get into a STATE from where stopping in the middle is not a possibility.

Two Life Lessons I learnt from these sad events…

1) Enjoy your relatives and family when they are still around.

2) Take control of your health, workout on a regular basis, feel good and do good to others.

To Your Continued Success!
