Things about Business ???The Apprentice??? Taught You…..Part 1

Donald Trump??™s ???The Apprentice??? may have lost its momentum in primetime, but there are still many lessons that the young entrepreneur can glean from this heartless, stiff-suited reality show. Did you catch some of these lessons throughout the seasons?

College Matters

In the first season, Troy McClain was booted in favor of Kwame Jackson. The differences between the two players you ask? McClain was an affable salesperson, while Kwame was a textbook stone face. The problem is that Kwame Jackson graduated from a fine college whereas McClain only graduated from high school. Worse yet, McClain tried to brag about that lack of achievement in the boardroom. Not surprisingly, Donald sent the high-schooler packing.

Evil Is Not Always Good Business Sense

Omarosa earned the most attention on the show??™s first season for lying, backbiting and throwing drama fits whenever possible. Though it made for great television, Trump never liked her and made sure she was booted??”twice if you count the Celebrity Apprentice Season. Evil may be entertaining, but it??™s not always good for business. Not unless you??™re Donald Trump, of course.

Be a Team Player

If you watched every season of The Apprentice then you may well have lost track of how many players were kicked out of the boardroom for disrupting the team. Sam, Brent, Marcus, Tammy, Stacie and the list goes on. Sometimes the exiled ???Apprentii??? were justified in their thinking. Nevertheless, even if Donald occasionally postponed the inevitable, once it was decided that the team chemistry was off, the most controversial team member was eventually fired.

It Never Pays To Be Quiet

Andy Litinsky found out the hard way that it doesn??™t pay to keep quiet??”in fact, Trump saw his restraint as weakness. Several members were fired throughout several seasons because they either failed to speak up or were accused of ???flying under the radar.??? Though the team may reject a worker??™s ideas, it doesn??™t benefit anyone to remain mute.
