2008 BlogWorld & New Media Expo: First Impression

Wow what an amazing tribe of bloggers all focused to contribute to the new media.

Finally I had the rare privilege of meeting Guy Kawasaki in person. He rocked with his keynote..Man he is on fire with his Alltop.com venture. Guy had been a tremendous influence on me. I had been carefully following him since his Garage.com days. We plan to meet in San Jose sometime soon :)-

Dave Talyor: Made a simple yet a phenomenal presentation “The State of Blogging and Where It’s Heading”. His point was stay relevant, communicate, participate. Most importantly have a voice and use it. Don’t get into this game just for making money…Dave I can’t agree more with you.

Darren Rowse:PRoblogger.net I had been following him for a long time. Exchanged emails with him in the past but never met him till now. Darren agreed to do a live interview with me. I am excited…Can’t wait to record that.

Don Crowther: The first person I met the minute I walked into the conference hall. If you know Don you know how phenomenal he is with his SMARTS, a Social Media Marketing Training Program. I asked Don about STOMPER.net’s recent FREE launch. His answer: Simply Stunning

John Chow: As many of you know John chow wrote a review of this site 4 months ago. I got an avalanche of traffic as as result of that. Finally I met him and had a chance to talk to him at length. We plan to meet over dinner before the conference ends…:)-

This is a quick update for now as I have to go back and attend the sessions

Will upload the photos and videos soon :)-

Cheers!
